The smooth, sharp edges of the Shun Elite Knife are effective, durable and make an elegant presentation. The blade is constructed with a cutting core of SG-2, an exotic Japanese powdered steel, so that every element used to create the steel is evenly blended eliminating weak spots or imperfections. This results in a high density and hardness for an exceedingly sharp, smooth, durable edge. Each knife is then coated with two layers of SUS410 steel that provides additional strength, flexibility and corrosion resistance. The PakkaWood® ergonomic handles allow for a maximum of comfort and control. Its handles are easy to grip with an attractive design. Bread knife blade measures 10". Hand wash. Limited lifetime warranty.
