Well Pond

The Stone Well Pond is cast in 'mineralstone' and is natural-looking, durable, non-porous, and lightweight.  This pond was designed for use with any of our Pond & Pool Spitters, but can also be used alone.  Made of a durable 'mineralstone' material, which constists of various minerals and stone which are finely ground and blended with a special polyester resin to achieve a truly natural look and water integrity.

• Use with the optional hollow pedestal, which conceals the submersible pump - just place it underneath, and feed the tubing up through the hole and into your fountain.
• Available in Natural or Granite finish
• Underneath is finished with a fiber-reinforced polyester laminate to ensure the pond's strength.
• The manufacturer does not recommend putting fish in this pond, or standing or wading in this pond.

Installing a Pond or Pool Spitter

Three elements are required for installation for use as a fountain, or 'spitter':

This fountain sculpture is plumbed with copper tubing with a hose barb welded to the tubing at the bottom of the sculpture.

The receptacle to hold water (not included) can be any non-porous material large enough to receive the water emitting from the fountain sculpture.

A submersible, recirculating pump (not included) draws the water from the pump submerged in the receptacle through a plastic hose attached to the hose barb on the fountain sculpture.  The water runs through the copper tubing inside the sculpture and flows back into the receptable, thus providing a continuous flow of recirculating water.  The pump's electrical cord is plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
