Cloisonne Lapel Pins

Cloisonné (Hard Enamel) lapep pin is an art developed centuries ago in China. This kind of pin is the most exPensive pin we have. How they are made:

An imprint of the design is stamped onto a sheet of metal. The recessed areas are filLED with a glass like mixture. Every time a new color is added, the pin is then fired at a temperature of over 1,500 degrees; this process eliminates the colors from bleeding. The colors in the pin are separated by your choice of gold or silver metal. The pins are then polished to a smooth jewelry like finish.
