3. Operational Summary
1.Hold Fn button for about 3seconds to turn on the compass. When the compass in on, digits showing the direction will appear;
2. You have about 20senconds to locate the direction. When the direction is located, the direction readout will blink for 10 seconds, the compass willten seitch off Automatically;
3. When the direction is located, you may press Fn button once to switch off the compass
4. Under the direction-locating mode, hold Fn button for about 3 seconds, toswitch to the Timer mode; while under the Timer mode, press Fn key for about 3 seconds to switch back to the direction-locating mode. The following is how to interpret the direction readouts:
5. Sharp North:N-0º; ‘0º-29º’ N blinks闪亮；‘30º-59º’ NE and N blinks;‘60º-89º’NE and N blinks；
6. Δbutton:when you press the Δbutton, the timer wil be on, press Δ again to pause the timer; when you press Δ for the second time, the timer will be reset, To save battery power, you may as well set the compass to the direction-locating ode and it wil switch off Under the direction-location mode, the LED will be automatically off in 20 seconds; under the timer mode, the LED WIL BE AUTOMATICALLY OFF IN 3 SECONDS.
4. Maintenance
1. When the display gets dim or unstable or unstable, batteries may need to be changed,
2. Avoid wet, hot and freezing environments;
3. When using the compass, hold it horizontally to ensure the accuracy of the readout;
4. Avoid contact with corrosive substacnces;
5. Remove batteries when not in use for a long time;
6. CAUTION! Viewing the sun can cause permannent eye damage . Do not vie the sun with this product or with the naked eyw.
